MA Therapy is the therapy practice of Mark Argent.
My initial training had a particular focus on spirituality as an important part of what it is to be human. It was followed by an extended period working in a residential centre, where some people came for programmes of a month or more, but the majority came for visits of around a week. Each of these involved where daily sessions with me or one of my colleagues. Subsequent professional development work has taken me in the direction of psychoanalytically-informed approaches to organisations and society, and I’m a member of the International Society for Psychoanalytic Study of Organisations. I’m a Professional Partner of the Tavistock Institute for Human Relations and have significant experience in group work, coming out of the group relations world. I am currently doing further advanced training with the Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis.
A little insight into how I work comes from the story of the swan image at the top of this site.
